Barnabas Collins

Ah, this is just so beautiful. I love the sepia tone of his image and the surrounding frame. He's slightly off-center--an approach which always adds interest. How his coat and part of the background seem to dissipate reminds me of old celluloid film stock, of the nitrate variety, that, over time, becomes hazy and marked by imperfections. It almost looks like a fire or water-damaged photograph, too. I am so glad that you took the time to make this because it is one of my favorites.
